Dr. Hantao Liu and Dr. Jeffrey Xiao both graduated from Griffith University at the Gold Coast, and they have always striven to provide a comfortable, relaxed, and friendly dental experience for all their patients. As a family-driven practice, we truly want our patients to feel like part of our family.
After graduating, Dr. Liu and Dr. Xiao worked together in rural Queensland as a husband and wife duo for many years. They then branched off into local private practices in Brisbane before reuniting once more to establish their own dental practice, Dental Greetings.

Dr. Hantao Liu moved to the Gold Coast from New Zealand 11 years ago to start her career in dentistry. Enchanted by the beauty and warmth of Queensland, she decided to make it her home. Dr. Hantao has worked in various locations, including Gympie, East Brisbane, and South West Brisbane. After getting married, Dr. Jeffrey successfully persuaded her to move to North Brisbane, where he grew up, to serve the community they both love.
With extensive experience in both public and private sectors, Dr. Hantao is known for her charismatic personality, infectious smile, and gentle touch. Her patients often compliment her for alleviating their dental phobias. She is loved by both children and adults, making her an ideal choice for those who fear the dentist or for children visiting the dentist for the first time.
Dr. Hantao emphasises preventative dentistry, frequently discussing the importance of flossing and proper brushing, especially with children. This passion stems from her own childhood dental issues, and she is dedicated to preventing similar problems in the next generation.
Although she enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Hantao has a particular interest in paediatric dentistry, minor oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry, including veneers, Invisalign, and cosmetic injectables (anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers). She believes that a beautiful smile starts with healthy teeth but can be enhanced by attending to other facial aesthetics.
Outside of work, Dr. Hantao spends quality time with her young family, including two puppies. She has a keen interest in fashion, plays the piano for her church on some Sundays, loves drawing, and is an avid movie enthusiast. Despite her petite appearance, she holds a black belt in Taekwondo, earning her the nickname “Superhero Dentist.”

Dr. Jeffrey Xiao grew up in Boondall and lived there since he was five years old until he moved to the Gold Coast to study Dentistry straight after high school. Having spent over 25 years in North Brisbane, Dr. Jeffrey is deeply familiar with the community and always dreamed of returning to serve the people who supported him throughout his life.
As a third-generation dentist, Dr. Jeffrey’s passion for dentistry runs in the family. His grandmother was an endodontist, his father a periodontist (now a professor), and his mother a dental technician. Inspired by his family’s dedication to dentistry, Dr. Jeffrey knew he wanted to become a dentist from a young age, often pretending to perform check-ups on his dad.

Dr. Jeffrey has extensive knowledge and passion for various aspects of dentistry, including prosthodontics (veneers, crowns, and bridge work), endodontics (root canal treatment), oral surgery, and implantology. He enjoys helping his colleagues and taking on challenging cases, regularly attending continuing education courses to stay at the forefront of dental advancements.
Thanks to his father’s influence as a renowned professor in dental research, Dr. Jeffrey stays involved with the latest technological advancements in dentistry. He is committed to using the best equipment and materials to ensure optimal patient care.
Known for his humorous and down-to-earth personality, Dr. Jeffrey creates a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for his patients. He takes the time to explain treatments and answer any concerns, ensuring that no question is too small.
A family-oriented man, Dr. Jeffrey loves cooking (despite disliking the dishes!) and enjoys cosy nights with his family watching TV or playing board games. He also has a passion for tennis and taking his dogs on hikes.
